Tasha Collins Ellerin, a High School senior, is instrumental in helping us with our clerical work. She is a hard and diligent worker who takes her volunteering commitment seriously. We are so appreciative of her very substantial help to our organization.

Whitney Guttmann, a Graduate Student at UMass Dartmouth is responsible for being able to create on paper our vision of the bow and arrow aiming straight for the word "Cure". Her work, amongst finals and various other activities, is truly remarkable. We cannot thank her enough for the image that not only adorns our Home Page, but will adorn brochures and posters in the future.

A more recent addition to our special thanks list is Sara "Mac" MacLeod, a graphic design student at RISD, who designed our beautiful Gala Program. Mac's talent, persistance and ability to work under great pressure is truly evident. She took on the project just 2 days prior to our event and had to work non-stop on the day of, to make last-minute additions and refinements. We couldn't have done it without her!

The evolution of our website from its original debut to the elegant site it is today would not have been possible without the significant contribution of Arielle Mills, a professional web developer, who volunteered her services to our organization. I'd also like to thank Daniel Murphy for creating the template for our website as well as helping with some of the graphics. Daniel's assistance has been, and continues to be, very valuable to us. Deborah Patton is the person who developed our website and we wouldn't be here without her help. She has donated many, many hours of her time in developing our site. It is her first major website, which means she also spent many hours studying all the details of putting it together. Debbie is a junior at the University of Rhode Island. Her hard work, dedication to our cause, her natural talent and persistence to every little detail are invaluable to our Foundation. There is no doubt of her success in a computer science career or whatever other path she might decide to pursue.

This website would not be possible without the continuous help of Mr. Paul Schings. He is instrumental in the more difficult updating and helping with the appearance and desigh. We couldn't function without him and are grateful that, despite his many professional and personal commitments and obligations, he helps us whenever his assistance is needed.

Lynda Takoudes has been the first volunteer for an event that our organization has participated in. She manned the booth for much of the day at The New England Women's Expo that took place at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, Rhode Island, on April 30th, 2006. We'd like to extend many heartfelt thanks to her, not only for so graciously offering her time to us, but also for surprising us with a beautiful, blown-up photo of her late husband, Chris Takoudes, who was a victim of Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease. He will be the formal "face" who will represent our foundation because of Lynda's generosity. She has allowed us use of his photographs for our flyers, website, etc. You will be seeing more of Chris in these pages in the future.

Last but not least, to my parents, Peter and Elvira Lascarides, for all their help, sacrifices and support. They have taken an active part volunteering at events, playing the role of "personal assistant" and supporting my work in every way they can.
