Peter Lascarides

Peter Lascarides 08/21/1924 - 10/2/2008 The Heart, Soul, Driving Force and reason behind the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation, Inc. We are sad to announce the passing of Peter Lascarides, Beloved Father of the Founder and President of the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation. Peter was a man of character, Faith and with a Strong, Moral Compass. Orphaned at the age of 10, he became Head of Household to his late mother and 2 younger brothers. Nothing gave him greater pleasure than caring for his family. He gave generously of his love to friends and family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will live in our hearts forever.
He was the reason Effie Marie Lascarides started this organization, to dramatically accelerate the cure so her Dad could benefit from it during his lifetime. Although he has passed, our efforts will carry on so that the day will come soon where no one will ever mourn such a loss. In addition to his daughter, he leaves his wife, Elvira, his children, Chris and Voula, Dino and Gail, his grandchildren, brother, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. For those of you who would like to send your condolences, in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation, Inc. All contributions in Peter's memory will go into the Peter Lascarides Alzheimer's Prize Fund. May He Rest in Peace and May His Memory Be Eternal. |
