The Alzheimer's Prize will be awarded to any scientist or team of scientists, who discover a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease. |

A “cure” for Alzheimer’s Disease will be defined as any method that will, at the very least, effectively and completely halt the progression of the disease and reverse at least 50% of the degenerative damage already inflicted in a patient in terms of regaining memory and functionality. |

The cure must be safe and not in any way life-threatening. The word “safe” will be defined as falling within the guidelines and safety regulations of the FDA. |

Any scientist or group of scientists, anywhere in the world who fulfill the above requirements will be eligible for the prize. |

5. |
For The Alzheimer's Prize to be awarded, the "cure" will be judged by our Prize Judiciary Committee, comprised of neuroscientists and neurologists who have experience with either the research or the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease. In addition, the "cure" will have to be endorsed as such by the American Academy of Neurology. |

Members of The Prize Judiciary Committee and their immediate family will not be eligible for The Prize. |

The goal of the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation, Inc. is to raise and award a $20,000,000 cash prize that will be awarded to the first scientist(s) who discover a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. In the event that a cure has been identified before the amount has been raised, the Foundation will award the amount that has accrued in the Alzheimer's Prize Account at the time of the discovery and will not be liable for any additional amount. |
