Our
Policy
In
this section you will become aware of some important policies of the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation,
Inc.
Our
most important Policy is incorporated in our Purpose: To raise funds
and award a $20,000,000 cash prize to whoever discovers the cure for
Alzheimer’s. By doing so, we will significantly accelerate the
cure.
Our
policy in pursuing this Purpose is to operate within the boundaries
of Internal Revenue Service Code 501(c)(3) and its highly specific
and regulated directives. We are an approved IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt
organization.
While
adhering to IRS directives, we maintain a Policy of Striving for
Excellence – in our Purpose, in our Fundraising, in Donor
Relations, in Service to the Global Community, in developing our
Board of Directors, our Scientific/Medical Prize Judiciary Committee, our Professional Committee
and our Advisory Committee and providing this Community with
information, advice and support.
We
maintain a Policy of serving as a conduit for Medical Services while
recognizing the Scope and Restrictions of our role as a Lay Body
which is not authorized or licensed to offer direct, specific Medical
Advice.
An
important Policy we follow for you, the Donor, the Lifeblood of the
Alzheimer's CURE Foundation is: to provide a variety of methods you
can use to support The Foundation through your Contributions; to make
these Contributions through a secure, encrypted Web Site assuring
your privacy and safety; to maintain your confidentiality as you
become a Donor, and insure that no other organization, Private or
Public Sector, has access to your name, address, or any other
personal or financial information; and, that we will recognize you
privately for the generosity of your donation and insure that your
Gift will be fully Tax Deductible to the extent of the law..
Our
Goal is to contribute to the Cure for Alzheimer’s Disease and
our Policies all work towards this noble cause.
